The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Recognizes Dedication to its Mission Pillars
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) held its 2024 Virginia Visionaries of the Year Grand Finale Celebration on Saturday, June 8, to honor individuals who have championed one of the organization’s three mission pillars. These pillars include research, policy and advocacy, and patient education and support.
During the event, 8News Anchor Deanna Allbrittin acted as emcee and recognized five dedicated candidates who represented one of these mission pillars throughout their campaign. The hard work of these candidates helped to raise a grand total of $268,890 for LLS’s mission.
