Luxury Spa Launches in Türkiye at Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort
Turkish hospitality group Maxx Royal Resorts has opened its new coastal retreat on Türkiye’s Bodrum peninsula, featuring a 4,500sq m destination spa. The Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort boasts 282 villas and suites designed by Turkish architect Mahmut Anlar. The resort’s flagship Maxx WellBeing Centre offers a blend of advanced medical-wellness treatments and holistic healing therapies. Wellness partners include Biologique Recherche, Art of Detox, Phytomer, Icoone, Swiss Perfection, and Technogym.
The Spa Experience
The spa marks the flagship Maxx WellBeing Centre and provides 20 treatment rooms offering a range of rituals ranging from high-tech facials and massages to traditional Moroccan rose water-infused hammam experiences and Ayurvedic-inspired treatments. The spa also offers treatments such as ozone therapy and IV therapy.
The thermal facilities in the Maxx WellBeing Centre include a banya, a hammam, an infrared sauna, a ritual sauna, VIP spa suites, a steam room, an Olympic-sized central pool area, a halotherapy room, a rain room, and scrub rooms with a Vichy shower. The center also has a relaxation space, a dedicated Medi-Spa area, and a Technogym-clad gym equipped with a studio for group classes such as reformer Pilates, antigravity yoga, breathwork, sound healing, and spinning.
Design and Development
The thermal experiences throughout the spa and hotel were conceptualized with the technical help of Promet, a Türkiye-based international spa design and build company. The hospitality group’s philosophy is based on creating memorable guest experiences underpinned by culture, wellness, family, and gastronomy.
Expansion Plans
Maxx Royal is set to expand internationally, with work already underway to realize Maxx Royal Maldives, its first property outside of Türkiye.
Conclusion
The Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort has an excellent location to cater to the increasingly popular demand for luxury tourism in the Mediterranean. In addition, it’s worth noting that it is in good company, sharing the Turkish Bodrum peninsula with other upscale operators such as Six Senses, Mandarin Oriental, Aman, Kempinski, and Marriott. The Maxx Royal Resorts are known for creating exceptional guest experiences underpinned by culture, wellness, family, and gastronomy.
